Info
On November 1, 2026, Yaelokre brings its Meadowlark universe to Òran Mór in Glasgow, with a show that sits somewhere between acoustic folk, OPM roots, and story-driven songwriting. Led by Keath Ósk, this Filipino-Icelandic project isn’t just a set of songs: it’s a narrative world built through music, illustrations, and staged interactions between masked characters who seem to answer each other across the set. The arrangements stay light and intimate, letting the vocals and the storytelling do the heavy lifting, with melodies that nod to folk tradition while keeping a modern, folk-pop ease. Expect highlights drawn from the early releases that shaped the lore, from the 2024 EP Hayfields and the widely shared “Harpy Hare” to the later chapters that expanded the project’s perspective. Live, Yaelokre leans into costume and character, turning the concert into a small theatrical moment without losing the directness of a stripped-back performance.
