Info
On February 25, 2027, YIN YIN lands at SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen with their own mix of psychedelic funk and Thai pop influences. The duo of Kees Berkers and Yves Lennertz has evolved into a tight live band, and YIN YIN delivers music that moves from the first note: repetitive basslines that stick, melodic guitars and motifs that color just beyond the Western frame.
Since their debut The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers (2019), the group has been building a danceable, global groove that works perfectly in a club setting: tight enough to steer, loose enough to breathe. On The Age of Aquarius (2022), keyboards and synthetic textures push forward more prominently, without the collective live approach disappearing. Do not expect a conventional song-based concert, but a set that builds, unfolds, and sometimes nearly enters a trance.
