On February 25, 2027, at The Arrowhead in Calgary, Eluveitie bring their Celtic-infused metal onstage, where melodic death metal riffs collide with fiddle, flutes, bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy. Built around the push and pull of harsh vocals and clean singing, their set moves between full-force anthems and folk-driven passages, with lyrics that tap into myth, history, and that Gaulish touch they’ve made their own.
NiNi opens up a different kind of fusion, blending modern metal with Asian folk colors led by traditional Chinese strings like sanxian, ruan, and liuqin. Expect a live sound where heavy guitars and metal vocals sit right next to bright plucked melodies, shifting between direct, punchy moments and more atmospheric sections.
Illumishade round out the night with cinematic hard rock and melodic metal shaped by big contrasts: clear vocals, thick but readable guitars, and keyboards that build mood without hiding the riffs. Their songs swing from upfront choruses to darker textures, keeping things tight and song-focused while still feeling expansive.
