Info
On November 25, 2026, at Club Cheek in London, Yu Su brings her “in the round” setup to a live context that matches the way she moves across scenes and formats: composer, producer, DJ, and sound artist, all at once. Born in Kaifeng and based in Vancouver, she’s built a sound where ambient and experimental electronics slide into oblique house, downtempo pulses, and dub-weighted details, with rhythms that stay flexible and harmonies that sometimes pick up jazz-tinted colors.
This show is a chance to hear that in a more intimate, 360°-style flow: fluid textures, discreet grooves, and transitions that feel closer to a DJ’s logic than a standard concert arc, without sticking to one lane. Yu Su’s world has grown through a string of sharp label homes over the years and through her own imprint, bié, launched after touring mainland China to help circulate the music she connected with there. Expect a set that treats space, motion, and atmosphere as part of the composition.
