Info
Resistance lands back in London on 5 December 2026 at Drumsheds for an all-day showcase built around a name that’s become a reference point for melodic, big-room techno: Paul Kalkbrenner. Shaped by the post-Wall Berlin scene, he’s always played it like a live producer as much as a DJ, stretching his tracks into long, evolving narratives rather than quick blends.
From early BPitch Control releases like Superimpose to the more conceptual arc of Self, Kalkbrenner’s sound has kept that mix of direct pulse and emotional lift. The Berlin Calling chapter, with its soundtrack and the runaway impact of Sky and Sand, turned him into a festival and club staple across Europe. Expect a set where tight, driving rhythms leave room for hooks and atmosphere, made for a warehouse-sized room.
