On March 21, 2027, Saul Williams brings The Leap Life Album Tour to Saint Luke’s & The Winged Ox in Glasgow, fronting his first full-length solo record in seven years. Named after his leap-year birthday, Leap Life is built around voice, rhythm and instinct, with Williams moving freely between spoken word, jazz inflections, hip-hop pulse, ambient composition and ceremonial sound.
Expect a live set that treats the stage like a space for performance as much as a concert: slam phrasing, chant, and declamation slipping into beat-driven passages and quieter, atmospheric stretches. Long known for refusing neat categories, Williams uses this new chapter to keep stretching the idea of what “music” can hold.
The album’s world is expanded by collaborators including Carlos Niño, Robert Del Naja (Massive Attack), Moor Mother, Kamasi Washington, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Surya Botofasina, and this tour is the moment to hear that wide spectrum translated into something physical, direct, and present.
