January 22, 2027, at La Ferme du Buisson in Noisiel, Rodrigo Cuevas comes to present La Belleza, a project in his own image, at the crossroads of Iberian folklore, traditional song, cabaret, and electronic pop that loves both rhythm and storytelling. Trained at the conservatory and nourished by the traditional music and dances of Asturias and Galicia, he has been shaping since the early 2010s a repertoire where old airs rub against contemporary treatments, between copla, reinterpretations, and a sense of theatricality. On stage, one encounters his signature: a hybrid performance that blends singing and theatricality, humor and characters, with a festive energy that never forgets popular stories and the figures on the margins. After albums such as Yo soy la Maga, Prince of Verdiciu, and Manual de Cortejo and Manual de Romería, Cuevas continues this very free approach to letting tradition and the present converse, for a concert that promises as much physical presence as words.
