Lee Fields arrives at the MeM in Rennes on February 2, 2027 for a concert that puts soul back at the center, with no frills. Active since the late 1960s, he has built his career on a string of singles, albums and, above all, a grainy way of singing capable of moving from a tender ballad to a sharp funk in just a few bars. His universe blends soul, R&B and southern grooves, driven by brass and a tight rhythm section, with that onstage edge inherited from the great days of American soul.
