Born in Greenland, raised in Denmark, and based in Berlin, Najaaraq Vestbirk, also known as Courtesy, has been a resident at Berghain/Panorama Bar, co-founded the Apeiron Crew collective and the Ectotherm label before launching Kulør, a platform through which she has shifted from techno toward a hypnotic, personal ambient trance. She describes herself as self-taught and says she continues to search for tracks, digging with CDs, in the old-fashioned way.
