Among the voices emerging from the new British post-punk scene, Heartworms arrives at Retronouveau on October 10. Its debut, A Comforting Notion, has drawn the attention of the British press. Inspired by the rigor of Interpol and Kraftwerk and by the intensity of PJ Harvey, Heartworms builds a dark, metronomic, and razor-edged sound, in which post-punk, industrial tension, and cinematic atmospheres meet. Live, accompanied by her band, she brings this same precision to a physical and theatrical dimension, with magnetic presence, absolute control, and an intensity that transforms every concert into a performance.
