Rikas arrive in Stockholm on February 26, 2027 for a show at Debaser Nova, right in the middle of their Dog Days tour. The quartet from Stuttgart consists of four childhood friends and has built its sound around a clearly collective ethos: everyone writes, sings, and shares the spotlight, which is evident in the tight harmonies and the driven, group-focused energy.
The music moves in indie pop that readily borrows from soul, funk and a touch of surf vibe, with a rhythmic edge and choruses that stick right away. Throughout the evening you can expect a set that alternates between early favorites from the EP Swabian Samba and the album Showtime, the more narrative track from Short Stories and Goodbye Sunshine, and material from Soundtrack For A Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet. It is the kind of concert where the songs can breathe live, the harmonies carry much of the drama, and the band's tight interplay makes every part a shared moment.
