On 11 March 2027, Getdown Services will come to Fållan in Johanneshov with its British mix of post-punk, indie, and a danceable club feel. The project has grown out of the 2020s independent scene and settles into songs driven by repetitive basslines, dry drum machines, and guitar- or synth motifs that keep everything on a tight, minimalist course. Live, it's all about groove and small shifts: simple structures built up, broken down, and brought back, with a nerve that works just as well for standing and nodding at the front as for letting loose further back in the room.
The singing moves between half-spoken and half-sung, sometimes with a spoken-word edge, where the lyrics capture everyday life, social codes, and the details of city living with an ironic distance. The result is a performance that moves effortlessly between the energy of the rock stage and the pulse of the electronic night, with a focus on rhythm, presence, and that slightly angular feeling that makes everything feel alive.
