Coming out of Scranton, Pennsylvania, The Menzingers have built their lane where punk urgency meets a broader American rock feel, carried by the two-voice dynamic of Greg Barnett and Tom May. From the turning-point impact of On the Impossible Past to the more recent Some of It Was True, their songs are made for shouting back without losing the edge.
Opening the night, Toronto’s The Flatliners bring their own rough-edged take on melodic punk, shaped by early ska-punk roots and tightened over years of touring. With a steady four-piece lineup, they move fast between hardcore bite and big, sing-along choruses, the kind that keep the room locked in. Their run from Cavalcade and Dead Language through to New Ruin shows a band that knows how to hit hard while keeping the hooks upfront.
