On March 23, 2027, at L’Espace de Forges, Marc Lavoine will present 'Dans la Peau' in a pared-down format, accompanied by Alain Lanty on piano. A face-to-face conceived to place the text at the center, to bring out the melodies and to give full room to timbre and silences, far from overly dense arrangements.
Since his beginnings in the 1980s, Lavoine has built a repertoire in which French song is told on a human scale, oscillating between romantic ardor and more bitter tales. You inevitably encounter 'Les yeux révolver' there, but also this distinctly Lavoinean thread: simple words, clear images, a way of speaking without overacting. In this tour, the performer and actor whom we have seen on stage as well as in cinema relies on the elegance of the piano to revisit his titles and establish a rare closeness, like a musical conversation with the audience.
