Declan McKenna hits the road for a run of intimate warm-up gigs, stopping in Stockton-on-Tees at The Georgian Theatre on 23 August 2026. A chance to catch him up close, away from the big festival stages, with that mix of sharp indie pop-rock and restless guitar energy that’s been his trademark since he broke through with socially charged songwriting.
Since his early singles and debut What Do You Think About the Car?, McKenna has kept pushing his sound, sliding into brighter, more textured territory on his third album What Happened To The Beach? and the double A-side Champagne / That’s Life (2024). Expect a set that can move fast between punchy hooks, left-field turns and lyrics that don’t dodge the real world, all carried by the tight feel of a full-band live show.
