On 22 November 2026, Shakka lands at Village Underground in London with the kind of set that reflects a decade spent pushing British R&B forward without making a fuss about it. Singer, producer and songwriter, he’s built a career where the vocals and the writing travel as much as his own records: two MOBO Awards for Best R&B/Soul Act, and a Grammy earned through co-writing “Cool” on Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia.
On stage, expect that smooth, flexible voice that’s turned up alongside JME, AlunaGeorge, Sigma, Basement Jaxx and Ghetts, plus the melodic instincts that shaped his debut album Road Trip to Venus, released as a clear first statement rather than a warm-up. In recent years, Shakka’s pen has also become a fixture in K-pop, signing exclusive publishing with Phrased Differently / Budde Music and collecting cuts with names like Baekhyun, ONEW, TXT and ZEROBASEONE. Rooted in classic hip-hop and dub reggae, and sharpened by modern R&B and club electronics, he’s now stepping into a chapter that’s fully his own.
