Raised on UK soundscapes and the video game soundtracks of her childhood, lynx irl, a Lille-based rapper, has built a musical universe at the crossroads of rap and bass music. She lays her voice over productions featuring house-inflected chords blended with breakbeat, jungle, and footwork. Roaming the rave, punk and hip-hop scenes, she blends their codes to offer music that is both alternative and personal. As stubborn as she is indecisive, it is with a playful tone and a sharp pen that she makes her existence and her commitments resonate in her tracks. Her surreal universe and her finely sculpted lyrics offer a lucid yet optimistic view of a world she knows to be absurd: the ruthless machinery of capitalism, the excesses of technology, and the rise of fascism.
