Australian songwriter and guitarist Courtney Barnett brings her sharp, talk-sung storytelling and wiry indie-rock riffs to The Glasshouse - International Centre for Music in Gateshead on October 14, 2026. From the early EPs later gathered on The Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas to the breakthrough Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, she’s built a sound where everyday details turn into punchy, melodic songs that hit with garage-rock bite and folk-ish ease.
