The second of two CTM x ICA 2026 nights at ICA Bookstore explores composition as a process of constant mutation.
A collaboration between Iglooghost and Daisy*, Cyst welds the jagged anatomy of digital debris with a viscous sonic palette to spawn a metamorphosis-heavy aural organism. This collaborative ecosystem thrives on a shared fixation with synthetic biology and the frantic microscopic collisions of sound data, club tropes compressed and rehydrated into a gelatinous cocktail of ruptured breakbeats and bioluminescent textures.
Alpha Maid slices through shifting indie-punk soundscapes, dub currents nodding to her Jamaican heritage and the Windrush legacy, hazy emo reverberations and the grit of experimental noise whispering across it all. Sparked by a growing fascination with particle physics and the idea that only a small fraction of the universe is known, that unseen 96% has become a space of possibility.
Europa’s A/V works are birthed in the liminal: penned in jet-lagged twilight, forged in the groaning belly of planes, trains, and transit purgatories. His songs are restless, shedding old skins as new ones form, on the cusp of somewhere else. Pop is rendered into pixelated shards, club anthems stretched to their breaking point, ambient tones leaking glittery viscera.
