Iraina Mancini is a singer, songwriter and DJ, known for crafting a brand of pop that blends psychedelia, retro-soul, ye-ye and vintage cinema.
Iraina has worked with collaborators including producer Jagz Kooner (Primal Scream, Andrew Weatherall), Simon Dine (Paul Weller), Erol Alkan (Duran Duran) and Sunglasses for Jaws (Miles Kane). Her debut album, Undo The Blue, received praise from both critics and peers, with Shindig Magazine commending it as “a playfully radical first album… perfectly amalgamating psych, pop and rock.” The Times noted her “intoxicating way with a melody,” and described her as “a new heroine to make us swoon”.
Her sound has garnered support from BBC6 Music, with six consecutive singles playlisted in a row from her debut. Early champion Lauren Laverne declared, “this is an artist I absolutely love”.
Currently back in the studio working on her second album, Iraina is entering a new chapter and will be previewing brand new material live at her show at Alphabet Brighton.
