Jacaranda Records is celebrating the release of Distance In Static with a Bonobo DJ set on 15 September 2026 at Jacaranda Baltic in Liverpool. Behind Bonobo is Simon Green, a British producer and DJ who bridges melodic electronic music with a more organic groove. Since his early days at the turn of the 2000s, he has crafted a sound where downtempo, trip-hop, nu jazz, and acoustic details intersect effortlessly, with real attention to textures and to supple basslines. Between his landmark albums and his more club-oriented explorations, Bonobo also knows how to tailor his music to the night, constructing progressive, warm sets that are always highly narrative. For this date, he will perform in DJ mode, with an opening act to set the stage before he takes command.
