Her first album L'autre bout du monde was released twenty years ago. Over the past two decades, Emily Loizeau has not ceased to write songs and to travel by train and by road to share them. As time has passed, she has become a fixture on the French scene, yet an unclassifiable, discreet and exacting figure who seems forever in search, widening with each album the palette of her repertoire and eager to express something about the clamor, upheavals and beauties of the world through each of her songs.
Beginning this autumn, Emily will thus celebrate twenty years of her career, through a tour that will see her perform solo with her piano, notably at L'Aqueduc on February 4, 2027 at 7:30 p.m. An engagement she hopes will be joyful and luminous, as she envisions the stage as a place of celebration, resistance and love.
