On October 8, 2026, Whiskey Myers bring their Texas-bred southern rock to The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor (Windsor, Canada). Formed in Palestine, East Texas, the band built its reputation the hard way, mixing country grit, classic rock muscle and roots instincts into songs that hit with both riffs and story-first writing. Across albums like Road of Life, Firewater, Early Morning Shakes and Mud, their sound has grown wider without losing that straight-ahead backbone: tough guitars, acoustic breaks when it’s needed, and a rhythm section that keeps everything tight around Cody Cannon’s vocals.
Opening the night, Austin’s The Ransom Brothers lean into country-rock and Americana with a southern rock edge and a touch of blues tension. Led by Sean McHargue and Daniel Solis, the project puts a lot of care into vocal harmonies and arrangements, balancing catchy choruses with an unforced, everyday-life kind of storytelling. Their recent direction pushes a more assertive red dirt/Americana blend, still anchored in that Texas circuit energy.
