Knox lands in Dublin on February 7, 2027 for the Midwest Best Tour, bringing his guitar-driven pop-rock that gets straight to the point. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Knox Morris made a name for himself in the early 2020s with short, confessional songs, wedged between indie pop and alternative rock, where he sings about relationships, romantic missteps, and those choruses you find yourself humming without realizing. After his beginnings at open mics and a stint in Nashville, he released a string of singles followed by the EPs How to Lose a Girl in 7 Songs and I’m So Good at Being Alone? in 2023, before expanding the format with the album Going, Going, Gone in 2025. On stage, the energy remains front-and-center, between light irony and pop tension, like a diary wired to amplifiers, expected at the Button Factory.
As the opening act, modernlove., an Irish band, rounds out the bill with an indie/alternative pop approach tailored for live performance, in the same vein of guitar-driven melodies and catchy tunes.
