A leading figure in independent French rap, La Rumeur has defended for thirty years an engaged, demanding music deeply rooted in the history of working-class neighborhoods. After selling out La Cigale in 2024 and celebrating the reissue of Du cœur à l'outrage at La Maroquinerie in 2025, the group will perform at La Maison Bleue on October 15, 2026, sharing the bill with Malik, a multidisciplinary artist whose writing is precise and razor-sharp.
Between intimate poetry, melancholic melodies, ego-rap and social critique, Malik delivers elegant and impactful rap. A meeting of two worlds inhabited by words, the stage, and a shared desire to break down the barriers between genres.
