Binomio de Oro de América arrives at Es Gremi (Son Castelló Industrial Park, Spain) on September 25, 2026, with a concert that adds to the celebration of its 50th anniversary. It marks a return to a repertoire that defined romantic vallenato and that, over the years, became the soundtrack for several generations inside and outside Colombia.
Founded in Barranquilla in 1976 by accordionist Israel Romero, 'El Pollo Isra', and singer Rafael Orozco, the group built its identity around the accordion, the backing vocals, and direct melodies, crafted to be sung. After Orozco's death in 1992, the lineup continued under the name Binomio de Oro de América, with Romero at the helm and embracing a more collective operation.
Along the way, Binomio de Oro also became a school of voices: singers such as Jean Carlos Centeno or Jorge Celedón, among others, passed through its ranks. A show to reconnect with its classics and with a career that remains alive, from stage to stage.
