Dead Poet Society comes to TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht on February 10, 2027, with an alt-rock sound that feels tight and sharp, without losing its melody. The band formed in Boston around four musicians with Berklee backgrounds and gradually built their own formula: heavy, angular riffs, a rhythm section that pushes hard, and vocal lines that stick, somewhere between modern rock and post-grunge.
After a string of EPs, -!- (2021) sharpened the lines: tightly written songs with a gritty but clear production, made to be torn apart live and snapped back together. Since moving to Los Angeles, Fission (2024) reveals more space in the arrangements and greater dynamic contrasts, while the approach remains direct. Expect a set that focuses on tension and drive, with guitars that cut, hooks that stick, and a band that clearly performs from the stage.
