HENGE lands in Birmingham on March 14, 2027, at The Castle & Falcon, with its own sci-fi folklore and this fixation: to make the planet dance by pulling it out of its habitual patterns. Formed in Manchester, the quartet moves masked behind its characters (Zpor, Goo, Sol and Nom) and calls its recipe "cosmic dross": a blend where psychedelia, space rock and electro rub shoulders with a highly live energy, between repetitive trance, acid riffs and motorik pulsation. On stage, it often veers into a gray area between rave and prog, with a groove that keeps everyone hooked, even when the music forks. Their latest album, Journey to Voltus B, pushes the concept further, with an intergalactic narrative and a double-groove vinyl edition that offers two possible endings depending on how the needle tracks. After several records and a mythology extended even into comics, HENGE remains above all devoted to presenting a concert as a collective, playful and somewhat strange experience, without taking themselves too seriously.
