Role Model, aka Tucker Pillsbury, arrives at AFAS Live in Amsterdam on February 14, 2027 with 'Chuck On Tour'. Having started in rap, the American quickly turned toward a more intimate alternative pop, somewhere between indie pop and bedroom pop: smooth melodies, spare arrangements, and unvarnished lyrics about relationships, loneliness, and mental health. After the EPs Arizona in the Summer, Oh, How Perfect, and Our Little Angel, he gained momentum with Rx, then pushed the dial further toward Kansas Anymore toward a more acoustic color, with folk touches and a hint of country. On stage, this confessional writing takes on another dimension, more direct, more inhabited.
As the opening act, Keni Titus, based in Los Angeles, delivers an indie-alt-pop with a deliberately raw voice, balancing vulnerability and dry irony. Her EPs mud on my superstars and juliet have established a precise universe in the in-between of adolescence and adulthood, and her debut album AngelPink broadens the frame without losing that sense of emotional detail. Two straightforward ways of telling youth and its contradictions, the same taste for songs that go straight to the point.
