Cock Robin returns to the stage on May 21, 2027 at Musis Arnhem, for a concert built around '85-89 The Best of'. Born in San Francisco at the start of the 1980s, the band established itself with pop-rock tinged with new wave, clear keyboards, tight guitar lines, and above all that vocal interplay that became their signature. Originally, the duo Peter Kingsbery and Anna LaCazio defined the project’s identity, pairing direct melodies with precise songwriting. The set will naturally emphasize the period of the first three albums, from Cock Robin (1985) to First Love: Last Rites (1989), when the group played a lot in Europe. After a hiatus in the 1990s, Cock Robin returned in the mid-2000s and has since continued around Peter Kingsbery, in a renewed lineup based in France. An opportunity to rediscover the band’s 80s DNA, not forgetting the more recent tracks that extend this blend of melodic pop, rock ballads and more ethereal arrangements.
