On January 24, 2027, Dead Poet Society arrives at Barcelona's Sala Razzmatazz with their tense alternative rock and heavy guitar sound. Born in Boston and formed by Jack Underkofler, Jack Collins, Will Goodroad, and Dylan Brenner, the band blends gritty grunge energy, hard rock punch, and a touch of noise, always with a rough yet clear overall sound.
After making a name with several EPs, they expanded the format to the album -!- (2021), where the chunky riffs, vocal melodies that are very much in the foreground, and a tight rhythm section that drives every shift stand out. Now based in Los Angeles, they continued refining that formula on Fission (2024), opening up the range with more dynamic contrasts and space-filled arrangements without losing immediacy. In live performance, their set relies on energy and on the catchiness of the chorus, straddling the border between modern rock and post-grunge heritage.
