Info

God Save The Queens celebrates 50 years of she-punk on 16 October 2026 at Electric Brixton in London, with a lineup that traverses margins and heritages without shying away.

Hollie Cook brings her own distinctive take on twisting reggae into a supple tropical pop, nourished by soul and meticulous arrangements. Having spent time with The Slits before forging her solo path, she creates a warm and bright atmosphere, carried by a voice that is soft but confident, between Caribbean groove and contemporary songwriting.

HotWax, a trio formed between Hastings and Brighton, arrives with gritty guitars, a punchy bass, and a bold grunge/post-punk energy. Their knack for angular melodies and taut live performances has sharpened across their EPs and their debut album, Hot Shock, somewhere between the 1990s and today’s urgency.

Big Joanie, born in London, anchors its punk in DIY, post-punk, and riot grrrl, with a deliberately raw sound and direct songs. From Sistahs to Back Home, the band broadens its scope, between dark pop and dry riffs, without losing the political and collective thread that has followed them on stage since their beginnings.
