Haley Heynderickx returns to the stage with what has defined her strength since her beginnings in Portland's indie folk scene: a fingerpicked acoustic guitar, a soft but restrained voice, and writing that looks closely at everyday life. Born in California and shaped by a family heritage spanning the United States and the Philippines, she crafts intimate songs where doubt, attention to detail, and a discreet spirituality intersect, without overemphasizing the emotions.
Following the EP Fish Eyes and the Among Horses III project, a collaboration with Max García Conover, her album I Need to Start a Garden established her indie folk with 60s/70s echoes, capable of moving from fragility to broader swells, with occasional touches of light arrangements. On August 26, 2026, at Hoxton Hall in London, she is set to return to this pared-down format, performing solo or with a small group, as close to the songs as possible.
