Celine Cairo will be live in London at SJQ on November 5, 2026.
Based in Amsterdam, the Dutch singer-songwriter moves between indie pop and modern folk, with a real taste for airy, atmospheric production. Her songs are built around a clear, steady voice, guitar and piano lines that feel close-up, then gently pushed outward by subtle electronics and restrained rhythms. She writes mostly in English and keeps things song-first, but never plain: there’s always a careful detail in the arrangements, a sense of space, a cinematic pull.
After early releases that put her on the radar in the Netherlands, she stepped into a more minimal, mood-driven direction with her 2016 album Free Fall, recorded partly in London with producer and musician Fink. On stage, whether solo or with a band, she leans into that balance between intimacy and texture, letting the voice lead while the sound shifts from acoustic warmth to discreet electronic layers. Special guests will open the night.
