I nearly titled this show 'Pleasure.' And then I thought that the only pleasures one would think of in front of a title like that would be pleasures forbidden to anyone under 18. However, for financial reasons, I want people under 18 to be able to attend my show as well. So I called it 'Delicious': it is a family-friendly show presented at the Théâtre Libre.
In one hour and twenty minutes, I will attempt to untangle the complexity of what provokes pleasure in human beings. Of course, pleasure can come from a glass of Sancerre that one savors along the banks of the Seine in spring. But it can also be provoked by the death of a being whom one does not love. Of course, an unexpected promotion within a company brings joy. But also the act of eating Camembert in Camembert, or knowing that you do not pronounce the 'z' in Avoriaz (which allows you to feel superior to all those who do not know it). My objective is that this show provokes in you a certain pleasure, in a mise en abyme like eating Camembert in Camembert.
