On October 26, 2026, CeeLo Green will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The Atlanta-born singer and rapper, born Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, became known in the 1990s with Goodie Mob and the Dungeon Family, alongside contemporaries such as OutKast. His broad, expressive voice—rooted in gospel, soul and hip‑hop—remains the heart of his live show. As a solo artist he early explored the edges between southern rap, funk, R&B and psychedelic soul on Cee‑Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections (2002) and …Is the Soul Machine (2004). With Danger Mouse as Gnarls Barkley he moved toward pop soul and experimentation (St. Elsewhere, The Odd Couple), after which he returned to orchestral soul and tight grooves on The Lady Killer, Cee Lo’s Magic Moment, Heart Blanche and CeeLo Green Is Thomas Callaway.

Live he brings those trajectories together: raw rap cadences alongside warm melodies, narrative singing, falsetto and call-and-response. Expect a set that shifts between Goodie Mob material, Gnarls Barkley songs and solo work, with a band that drives the groove while leaving space for his voice. A show in which the boundary between Atlanta rap and classic soul audibly converges.
