On 1 November 2026, Stuttgart quartet Rikas play King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow. Known for an indie pop sound that folds in shades of soul, funk and surf, the four friends share vocals and songwriting, pushing a very collective approach on stage. Harmonies sit up front, guitars and keys trade warm lines, and the rhythm section keeps a steady groove built for movement rather than spectacle.

Over the past years, Rikas have shaped their catalogue with the EP Swabian Samba (2018), the album Showtime (2019), then Short Stories (2021) and Goodbye Sunshine (2022). Their second album, Soundtrack For A Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet (2025), adds a more narrative edge without losing the band’s melodic core. Live, they lean into that breadth: sharp, unison vocals, quick switches of lead, and arrangements that stay light on their feet.

Expect a set that threads older favourites with newer cuts and a few rarities, played with the easy back-and-forth of a group that writes and performs as one. Rikas come to Glasgow with special guests, for a night focused on songs, harmonies and a close-up, band-in-the-room energy at King Tut’s.
