On July 13, 2026 at Grey Eagle in Calgary, 2 Chainz takes the stage with a set drawn from more than a decade of Southern rap. Born Tauheed Epps in College Park, he first emerged as Tity Boi in the duo Playaz Circle, spotted off the 2007 single Duffle Bag Boy, before stepping out solo with the T.R.U. REALigion mixtape in 2011. Since then, he’s stacked collaborations with Kanye West, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, and signed a catalog that moves from Based on a T.R.U. Story (2012) and B.O.A.T.S. II (2013) to Pretty Girls Like Trap Music (2017), Rap or Go to the League (2019), So Help Me God! (2020) and Dope Don’t Sell Itself (2022). His link-up with Lil Wayne runs through ColleGrove (2016) and Welcome 2 Collegrove (2023), while 2025’s Life Is Beautiful with Larry June and The Alchemist adds a fresh chapter. Live, it’s heavy-bass trap, direct hooks and a sharp, unhurried flow.
Peter Jackson opens. A fixture of Canadian hip-hop since the late 2000s, he built his name on the road alongside D12, Royce da 5’9", Joe Budden and Naughty by Nature, then as support for Tech N9ne, Slaughterhouse, Pharoahe Monch and more. His debut In My Life dropped in 2010, followed by tours with French Montana, Ghostface Killah and D-Block, and collaborations like Miss Right with Sizzla Kalonji and #1 Fan with Karl Wolf. His style balances straight-ahead rap and melodic hooks—built for the stage.
