Nick Hakim

Nick Hakim lands at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on 3 November 2026 with his slow-burning blend of neo-soul, psychedelic soul and dream‑R&B. Raised in Washington, D.C. and now based in New York, he writes intimate songs built on supple vocals, gauzy textures and unhurried grooves, a language he’s honed since his early self-released EPs Where Will We Go (2014). His debut album Green Twins (2017) introduced a hazy, tactile palette; Will This Make Me Good (2020) pushed further into collage-like experimentation and introspective moods; Cometa (2022) lightened the air with more organic, melodic shapes. On stage, expect voice, guitar and keys to drift and intertwine, leaving space for detail, pauses and small shifts that carry the songs. His path runs through church-choir roots and Berklee, and across collaborations with Roy Nathanson and Onyx Collective, as well as sessions alongside Terence Nance, Erykah Badu, Lil Yachty or Adrianne Lenker.
