Mees Salomé

On July 23, 2026 at Standard Time, Toronto, Dutch DJ and producer Mees Salomé takes the controls. Raised in the Netherlands and briefly trained in Creative Production at Codarts Rotterdam before carving his own path, he shapes a melodic sound at the crossroads of progressive house and techno: clear synth lines, slow-building progressions and a measured sense of tension made for the club.

On record, he has released with This Never Happened, Filth on Acid and Armada, and signed remixes for Joris Voorn, Tinlicker and Röyksopp. His tracks have picked up steady support from Adriatique, Camelphat, Kölsch, Nora En Pure, Joris Voorn, Lane 8 and BBC Radio 1. Away from the studio, Mees runs Distant, launched as a monthly podcast and grown into a series of events, a natural outlet for his long-format open-to-close sets.

On stage, he has appeared across European clubs and festivals including Watergate, DGTL, Loveland, Hangar Brussels and Pleinvrees. He brings that detailed, melodic club sound to Toronto for a focused set at Standard Time.
