Direct, concise and straight to the point. That’s how Aiko el Grupo’s songs are: a fun, distinctive and effervescent band on the current scene, formed in Madrid by Teresa Iñesta (guitar and vocals), Lara Miera (guitar and vocals) and Bárbara López (keyboard and vocals).
With their sharp, irreverent lyrics—tinged with a naive touch but with an unmistakable bite—their high-speed live shows and overflowing attitude, they have carved out a place in the national indie scene since 2020 with Va totalmente en serio... ("It’s Totally Serious..."). In 2023 they returned with their first full-length, Me están apuntando con un arma ("They’re Pointing a Gun at Me"), where they developed the same bold approach, precise in both message and form. In 2024 they released A tomar por culo ("Fuck It"), a new EP on Primavera Labels that is rawer and more mature, and that anticipates a new phase culminating in 2026 with a new studio album.
