Info
On November 10, 2026, at Stereolux in Nantes, the Michael Schenker Group will be appearing, led by the German guitarist with the Gibson Flying V that helped shape much of modern hard rock. After starting out with the early Scorpions alongside his brother Rudolf and then experiencing a pivotal period with UFO between "Phenomenon" and "Lights Out," Michael Schenker has always been known for a precise, melodic style, tight riffs and finely honed solos. He is responsible for classics such as "Doctor Doctor," "Rock Bottom" and "Only You Can Rock Me," and for a sonic signature that is instantly recognizable.
Founded in 1979, MSG remains a variable-lineup outfit built around his guitar, where the efficiency of the compositions and a strong sense of hook prevail. After his return to the stage in the 2010s, the band released "Immortal" in 2021, "Universal" in 2022, and the studio album "Don’t Sell Your Soul" in October 2025. In concert, MSG draws from all those eras, blending signature tracks with recent material in a brand of hard rock tinged with heavy metal that emphasizes melody, collective energy and the craft of a well-constructed solo. It’s an opportunity to hear a repertoire spanning several decades, driven by a guitar tone that is immediately identifiable.
