La Nuit Étincelle brings together two sensibilities of melodic electronic music on October 31, 2026 at Espace Étincelle, 1 Allée Lucien Videau in Bergerac: Petit Biscuit and Klingande. The evening will focus on crisp melodies, refined textures and a measured groove, positioned between electronic pop and house.
Petit Biscuit, aka Mehdi Benjelloun, emerged with his self-titled EP and the single "Sunset Lover" before asserting his signature on Presence and later Parachute. Trained in cello and guitar, he blends electronica, chillwave, future bass and pop, with airy synth lines, chopped vocals and song-like structures. His writing seeks a balance between introspection and pulse, and translates on stage into restrained build-ups, gentle breaks and choruses that settle in effortlessly.
Under the name Klingande, Cédric Steinmyller unfolds a melodic house that sits between deep and tropical, driven by piano, saxophone motifs and vocal collaborations. From early tracks like "Punga" and "Jubel" to songs such as "Riva (Restart the Game)", "Somewhere New" or "Ready for Love", he traces a clear line: luminous harmonies, a relaxed tempo and acoustic touches. His performance extends the aesthetic of The Album (2019), featuring smooth transitions and a keen sense of melodic detail. Two complementary worlds on the same stage.
