Pierpoljak

Pierpoljak returns to La Laiterie, Strasbourg, on 25 September 2026, with a tour that places Skabadeng at its center. Produced by Jamaican Clive Hunt and released on Barclay at the end of 2025, the album reconnects with his taste for crisp choruses and immediate melodies. On stage, the band unfolds a live-and-direct format: continuous groove, guitars with a precise skank, and a square, roomy rhythm section that lets the voice breathe. The set moves between essentials and new material, without breaks. You hear “J'sais pas jouer,” “Pierpoljak,” “Déparaillé” and the intimate “Maman,” joined by recent tracks that fit in naturally. The show emphasizes closeness and the effectiveness of reggae played live, between roots and ragga, without frills, for a collective experience.

Alongside him, Big Red, one half of Raggasonic, lines up his classics and the tracks from Blood & Victory. His live set draws on reggae’s roots and crosses into more modern sonorities, from dub to bass music, with productions from the French scene. Clear flow, raw energy, direct lyrics: he tackles racism, police violence and social struggles in a format tuned for the stage. It’s a performance that complements the evening and links generations and styles around the same groove.
