The Script bring The Man In The Arena Tour to 3Arena in Dublin on 31 October 2026. Formed in the city in 2001, the band blends pop rock with a soul-leaning touch, led by Danny O’Donoghue and drummer Glen Power, now joined by Benjamin Sargeant and Ben Weaver following the passing of Mark Sheehan in 2023. On stage, they switch between intimate ballads and punchier numbers, folding guitar, piano and live drums into polished arrangements. Expect a set that draws on Satellites (2024) and reaches back to early releases like The Script and Science & Faith, with staples such as Hall of Fame, The Man Who Can’t Be Moved and Breakeven.
Also on the lineup, James Morrison brings a raspy, soul-tinted voice and songs that sit between acoustic folk and pop. Since Undiscovered (2006), his catalogue has balanced ballads and mid-tempos built around guitar and piano, with collaborations across the UK pop scene along the way. His set adds a warm, melodic counterpoint to the night, spanning early tracks to more recent material.
