Ghostly Kisses

Ghostly Kisses is the project of Québécoise singer and violinist Margaux Sauvé, together with keyboardist and composer Louis-Étienne Santais. Their sound moves between dream pop, indie and soft electronics, with ambient hues and a penchant for nocturnal atmospheres. Sauvé began writing her own songs in the mid-2010s, encouraged by Dragos Chiriac (Men I Trust). Since the debut single "Never Know" (2015), the EPs What You See, The City Holds My Heart, Alone Together and Never Let Me Go have followed. In 2019 the project performed at SXSW and further developed with the albums Heaven, Wait (2022) and Darkroom (2024). Collaborations with Tim Bran and Thomas Bartlett, music for the podcast Red Frontier and the track "Empty Note" appearing in series such as The Rain and Skam Italia mark their trajectory.

On 6 November 2026 Ghostly Kisses will play Melkweg in Amsterdam. Live, the focus is on an intimate voice, spare arrangements, piano and subtle synths that slowly unfold. Between older EP material and more recent work, songs emerge that let silence breathe while still maintaining direction.
