Under the name World Brain, Lucas Chantre builds pop songs that keep one foot in the digital age and the other in live, organic sound. He blends nostalgic synth textures with drums, keys and guitars, letting supple melodies ride on steady grooves. On stage he moves with the music, a high-energy presence that gives the tracks a physical edge and a playful way of embracing the everyday chaos of the present. World Brain sits between electronic production, jazz leanings and a taste for cinematic writing, more about flow and texture than fixed genres. Open Source, released in 2024, traced that path with open, sometimes introspective pieces, and the French voice of his sister Noémie as a close counterpoint. With a new record due in fall 2026, World Brain plays on 10 October 2026 at Oslo Hackney in London.
