World Brain arrives in Ourense on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Café & Pop Torgal. Under this alias, Lucas Chantre shapes a solo project rooted in the francophone tradition that crosses experimental pop, jazz and electronics with songwriting that has an almost cinematic pulse. His music examines the intersections of connectivity, technology and human experience, and translates them into pieces of nostalgic digital textures, live-played instruments and flexible melodies that resist being pigeonholed.

In concert, World Brain dismantles and recombines that material with an open approach: synthetic layers that become organic, subtle rhythmic variations and a constant attention to sonic narrative. Open Source (2024) serves as the backbone of the repertoire; his sister Noémie’s vocals in French provide an intimate counterpoint within a universe where song, experimentation and electronic music converse without friction.
