Dax « The Anger Management Tour »

Dax brings The Anger Management Tour to Le Studio TD in Montréal on November 28, 2026. Born in St. John’s to Nigerian parents and raised in Ottawa, he left college basketball in the U.S. in 2016 to push his poetry into rap. Since then he’s carved a lane that blends hip-hop, contemporary R&B, hardcore rap, country rap and Christian hip hop, writing in a plain, direct voice and often lifting choruses with melody. Collaborations with Hopsin, Tech N9ne, Trippie Redd, Nasty C, Elle King and Darius Rucker underline that cross-genre pull.

Live, he shifts between fast, clipped flows and sung refrains, keeping the focus on words and delivery. The set draws across his catalogue, from the early 2018 releases to the more introspective run of I’ll Say It for You (2020), Pain Paints Paintings (2021), What Is Life? (2023) and From a Man’s Perspective (2024). Themes move from personal reckonings to social snapshots, carried by a straightforward, confessional tone built for the stage.
