Marlon Hoffstadt - Fête de la Musique

For Fête de la Musique on 21 June 2026, Marlon Hoffstadt will take the reins at Le Hasard Ludique in Paris’s 18th arrondissement. The Berlin-based producer and DJ first burst onto the scene with “Shake That” (a duo with Dansson) before launching his labels Retrograde and later Midnight Themes. His trajectory has moved from house with tech-house hues toward faster tempos, upfront melodies and nods to Eurodance — a signature he also explores under the alias DJ Daddy Trance. Between high-energy house and so-called “new school” melodic trance, he cultivates a direct sound designed for dancing.

On stage, Marlon Hoffstadt favors continuously moving sets. Planet Love, released in 2023, crystallized this approach by blending trance energy, techno textures and effective vocal lines. In Paris he will deploy this blend without confining himself to a single box, alternating accelerations, rapid build-ups and contrasting breaks. It will be an opportunity to experience live the vision of a leading artist from a Berlin generation that is putting melody back at the center of the club and carrying the crowd into an intensely danceable flow.
